Poem: There’s millions they say…

The crowds swarm by, there’s millions they say,

Any person can replace what has already captured your heart,

Are you suppose to let time, rip and tear you apart,

Or are you suppose to wash them away,

As though they never went round go from the start,

I can’t pretend you never existed,

You made my life, like the way Mickey made Walt Disney’s,

Although the magic to some, was fake and blurry,

When the credits rolled, I lit up with a childlike quality,

You’re the happiest place I know, no one else will know,

How deserted the landscape now feels,

How a walk is a drift, but a March drift,

Heavy shoes with a weak mentality,

I only want to come home to you,

Now I am just part of the swarm.
